WILD CAUGHT AFRICAN SHIPMENT QUARANTINE RELEASE DATE 2-3/12/09

After months and months of trials and promises and please, Aquapets is pleased to announce that our WILD CAU,GHT African shipment has arrived and is safely in quarantine as I wright.
The shipment was an enourmous success, NOT ONE SINGLE FISH arrived dead, and all were in tip top condition and are now beginning to show there full colours.

We have received 3 varieties of Frontosas, Mpimbwe, Samazi and Karima, all of which look great and are even beginning to display. The colonies comprise of (we believe) 2M to 5 Females and will be available for purchase in 2 weeks, any inquiries are welcomed. In regards to the other fish that arrived, we have some sensational SYNODONTIS MULTIPUCTATUS, these guys are all wild caught and look so much better than the tank bred equivelants that we are all so used to; the wild variety has much finer spotting and far better colour. The Julies are, as with everything else an exceptional grade, very strong and robust colours and shapes as well as behavior, with all eating well and looking fine.

The Tropheus that arrived are simply wonderful, The golden Kazumbe are turning into real stunners, as are the Mpulungu and Morago, all great sizes and showing perfect markings and body shapes. The Red Rainbows and Ulwilie are huge and the Chaitika and Illangi most of which are already spoken for are really top quolity, Lake Tanganyika you really have out done yourelf, producing some fantastic and trully mesmarising species of fish, with sensational colours, attitudes and all in all just wonderfull top quality fish.

Any interest in the above fish can be made via calling Aquapets directly on (02) 9389 4380 or emailing us at petnation@optusnet.com.au

Aqua Design Amano Has Come To Aqua Pets

Aqua-Pets Aquarium is proud to become one of two Sydney retailers to offer the full range of Aqua Design Amano (ADA) products. The ADA range is a comprehensive and precise range of products, which not only aims to re-create the natural environment but also encourage maximum plant growth and plant cell multiplication. The product range is able to do this through a unique blend of specially targeted nutrient types, minerals and extracts specially formulated to target every stage of plant growth, from the initial acclimatisation stage right through to long-term maintenance and health. The ADA system is one of the only products available on the market, which looks at the whole picture, aiming not only to encourage plant growth but also to re-create the natural aquatic conditions as close as possible. Nutrient levels, general water conditions such as; pH, mineral levels, substrate water movement and temperature are just some of the targeted areas of the ADA products.

Tanks such as this become a reality with the aid of ADA soild and Fertalisers.

First designed and used By renowned aquarist and creator of The International Aquatic Plants Layout Contest, Takashi Amano of Japan, this unique range of products has already become a world wide success with aquarist in The US, Canada, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, the UK, Ireland, China, and now finally Australia where it is being heralded as “the greatest invention since liquid fertilisers”. The ease and simplicity of the product range are what makes is so attractive to Aquarists, not to mention the GUARANTEED results. Offering a complete plant growth system including a 2 step substrate process, specifically designed fertilisers, water conditioners, live bacteria additives, tanks, fish food, decorative gravels, sands and a full and comprehensive testing regime Co2 system and plant maintenance tools there is really no going past the ADA range.
Further more the ADA range is in our opinion the only product available to offer such a high success rate, in terms of plant growth and such a high nutrient content per square inch of soil. Being both tried and tested in the laboratories of the world and in our own aquariums as well as the aquariums of our staff and clients. The ADA range provides aquarists of any age and caliber the correct tools and skill sets to accomplish, what to them has up to now appeared near impossible: the ability to recreate nature and exhibit a portion of the under water world as they desire, right in the comfort of there own living rooms.

If you have a passion for the underwater world and would like to see it re-created in you living space drop into AQUAPETS where we can talk you through all you will need to know.
